Nintendo Switch 2 users are unlikely to see Baldur’s Gate 3 available on the platform, as Larian Studios’ CEO Swen Vicke indicated that the decision is out of their hands. Speculation suggests that either Wizards of the Coast, the owner of the Dungeons and Dragons IP, or Nintendo is responsible for the absence of a port. Larian’s technical director mentioned their recent release of Divinity: Original Sin 2 on Switch 2 and potential future considerations for that platform. However, Larian has stated they will not develop major updates or a sequel for Baldur’s Gate 3.
