The government may face legal action regarding radon gas levels at Lindholme prison in South Yorkshire, following similar issues that led to the closure of Dartmoor jail. Inmates at Lindholme have reported health problems such as headaches, rashes, and fever, prompting Ministry of Justice officials to order the installation of radon detection equipment. These developments raise concerns about inmate safety and the management of environmental hazards in prisons.
