Trump previously joked about a third term during a rally in Nevada, but now insists he is “not joking” about it. Changing the laws to allow a third term would require significant legislative hurdles, and both Democrats and some Republicans have expressed opposition to the idea, with Senator Markwayne Mullin stating he would not support such a move.
