A man in his 40s was shot dead and a woman, also in her 40s, was injured in Clissold Park, Hackney, as eyewitnesses reported a gunman chasing the woman. A brave dog walker intervened, confronting the suspect before he turned the gun on himself; police have since cordoned off the area and are investigating the incident, which is believed to be isolated.
