Dog of the month: Georgie, who would like The Spinoff to rank peanut butters

Get to know Georgie, the latest Dog of the Month featured as a reward in The Spinoff’s What’s Eating Aotearoa PledgeMe campaign. Georgie, a 2-year, 10-month-old mutt with some Staffy and Labrador in her, was rescued from Mahia Animal Rescue. Her owner, Peter, describes her as friendly, well-versed in political news from listening to RNZ, and with a base instinct to destroy toys. Georgie enjoys chasing frisbees, dislikes thunder, and dabbles in lawn work, making her a charismatic and lovable addition to the campaign.
