A 71-year-old man and his dog were involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident in Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, resulting in the dog’s death. The man was walking near Stockton Street when a blue Ford Territory reportedly clipped him and fled the scene without stopping. NSW police are seeking the driver of the vehicle and urge anyone with information or footage to contact them. The investigation is ongoing.
