A female doctor, identified as 32-year-old Helen Massiell Garay Sanchez, was found dead and possibly naked inside a freezer at a Dollar Tree store in Miami, Florida. Surveillance footage indicated no foul play, but it remains unclear why Sanchez entered the restricted stockroom area. Originally from Nicaragua, Sanchez was an anesthesiologist specializing in congenital heart disease and reportedly died during a trip to the U.S. on Dec. 14, 2025. Her friends and family are raising funds to have her body repatriated to Nicaragua for a proper funeral.
