Doctor found dead in bath after learning her boyfriend had one-night stand

Dr. Rielle Longhurst, a 30-year-old aesthetics doctor, drowned in her bath after discovering her boyfriend, Charlie Procter, had a one-night stand while on a work trip. The inquest revealed she was under the influence of wine and opioids at the time of her death on August 22, 2022, and had expressed suicidal thoughts to Procter during an argument. Although her family and Procter believe she did not intend to take her life, the coroner concluded her death was a misadventure due to drowning influenced by alcohol and medication.
