DNA and ‘distinctive’ car link to man accused of beach killing, jury hears

In the trial for the murder of Toyah Cordingley, Rajwinder Singh pleaded not guilty after being linked to her shallow grave via DNA samples and a distinctive European car. Cordingley’s phone movements and the presence of Singh’s blue Alfa Romeo sedan near the crime scene were highlighted as evidence, along with DNA found on a stick near her body. Singh left Australia for India shortly after Cordingley’s death, and the defense argued that other suspects could have been responsible for the murder.
