Disney sues Sling TV over its one-day cable passes

Disney has filed a lawsuit against Sling TV, claiming the latter violated its licensing agreement by offering short-term streaming passes for ESPN and Disney networks without permission. Sling TV, which introduced these passes to allow viewers to access content for one day or a weekend, has described the lawsuit as “meritless” and plans to defend its offerings.
