Iranian missiles targeted the towns of Arad and Dimona near an Israeli nuclear research facility, injuring at least 180 people. This attack was reportedly in retaliation for an Israeli strike on Iran’s Natanz nuclear site. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the situation as a “very difficult evening” as the conflict escalates, with over 4,500 injuries reported in Israel since February 28. Analysts suggest Israel may have underestimated Iran’s military capabilities, particularly its missile technology.
