Dennis Cometti’s family appreciates support following his passing

The family of broadcasting legend Dennis Cometti expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of tributes following his death at age 76. They noted that the response from the sporting community, including praise from footy greats and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, has been overwhelming. Cometti is survived by his wife Velia, daughter Ricki, and son Mark. A State Memorial Service will be held in his honor in the coming weeks.
