In early December, Indonesian police conducted a raid at Alauddin State Islamic University in Makassar, South Sulawesi, arresting 17 suspects, which included university officials, lecturers, civil servants, and employees of state-owned banks. The operation uncovered a major criminal network operating within the university, located 1,600 km east of Jakarta, with connections to illegal activities. The suspects are currently under investigation for their involvement in the illicit operations.
