Xbox Series X/S and Amazon Luna+ users can now play Death Stranding, a mysterious walking sim by Hideo Kojima, which has been released on its fifth anniversary without prior notice. To celebrate, the Director’s Cut version is 50 percent off on various platforms except PlayStation, where the game originally debuted. Kojima Productions now fully owns the Death Stranding IP, with a sequel in the works as a Sony-published PS5 exclusive and a movie adaptation on the horizon, while the developer is also working on other games like OD and an action-espionage title for PlayStation.
