SINGAPORE: A ransomware attack on DataPost, a Singapore-based service provider, has compromised personal data of at least 146 Income Insurance policyholders, including names and policy numbers. The attack, identified by RedPacket Security, involved a coordinated effort by the threat group “direwolf” and led to unauthorized data transfer. Income Insurance has suspended operations with DataPost and is monitoring for suspicious activities while cooperating with authorities to assess the incident’s impact.
