Danville City Councilman Lee Vogler, 39, faces a challenging recovery after being set on fire by 29-year-old Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes at his workplace, suffering severe burns on 60% of his body. Hayes, who allegedly intended to kill Vogler, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and is currently held without bond.
