Dangote Unveils Plans to Build Nigeria’s Largest Port

Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, plans to develop Nigeria’s largest port in Ogun State’s Olokola Free Trade Zone, alongside constructing two new cement plants with a total capacity of six million tons, in addition to the existing 12-million-ton plant. Dangote praised Ogun’s business-friendly policies during a meeting with Governor Abiodun, attributing his renewed interest in investing in the state to these policies and expressing frustration over delays caused by previous demolitions of the cement factory. Governor Abiodun commended Dangote for his dedication to economic transformation, job creation, and national development, highlighting the positive impact of the investments on the state’s industrial growth.
