Czech skier Tereza Nova, who competed in four Olympic races in 2022, is in a medically induced coma after brain surgery following a downhill crash in Germany. Nova, 26, required surgery to reduce brain swelling and remains in a coma as deemed necessary by the medical team. The Czech ski federation expressed support for Nova, who has competed in World Cup races since 2019 and made her international debut in 2014.
