Thousands at pro-Palestinian rally in London

Several thousand Pro-Palestinian supporters gathered for a rally in central London organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, despite police blocking a planned march from Portland Place to Whitehall. A total of 77 arrests were made, with demonstrators breaching conditions and attempting to march towards the BBC, resulting in police intervention. The rally, held following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, included signs calling to stop the Gaza massacre and questioning media coverage of Israel’s actions, while counter-protests and concerns over synagogue safety were also highlighted.
