The US has unveiled a comprehensive plan for a “New Gaza,” aimed at rebuilding the war-torn territory with modern infrastructure, including skyscrapers and housing estates, presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos. President Trump emphasized the potential of the location, while Jared Kushner outlined the need for demilitarization and investment, stating reconstruction could be completed in two to three years. The plan includes a phased development approach with a focus on residential, agricultural, and industrial areas, while also addressing the need for security. As the ceasefire remains fragile, the situation in Gaza continues to be critical, with ongoing casualties reported.
