Community Cast Performs in Cultural Finale

Thousands attended the closing event of Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture, featuring the performance “Brighter Still” in Bingley, which showcased a diverse community cast of local participants through dance, poetry, and singing. Co-director Emily Lim praised the performers for their pride in representing the city. Throughout the year, Bradford hosted around 5,000 significant events, including the Turner Prize, and experienced a 25% increase in city center footfall.
