Sana el-Azab, a 29-year-old former teacher from Gaza, recently arrived in Durham, UK, after being evacuated with other students due to the destruction of educational institutions in Gaza. With universities ruined and children out of school, she hopes to rebuild her homeland after pursuing her studies in educational leadership.
