Actor John Alford Sentenced for Sexual Assault
Actor John Alford, known for roles in “London’s Burning” and “Grange Hill,” has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting two teenage girls. The incidents occurred in April 2022 after he provided alcohol to the 14 and 15-year-olds at a friend’s home in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Alford, 54, was tried under his real name, John Shannon, and found guilty of multiple sexual offenses.
