Three Men Convicted of Anaru Moana’s Murder

A jury has found Hayden Douglas Burt, Aaron Boden, and siblings Cody and Korina Boyes guilty of murdering Anaru Moana in 2021 and disposing of his body in the Waitaki River. All four accused pleaded not guilty. The verdicts were reached unanimously by the jury just before 11:30 AM. Moana was last seen in December 2021, and police believe he was murdered.
