Cannes experienced a citywide power outage on Saturday, disrupting the ongoing film festival and affecting local businesses due to an arson attack on a substation in nearby Tanneron. French police are investigating the incident as a case of suspected arson. Despite the challenges, the festival managed to continue using private generators and power was restored by 15:00 local time.
