Ava Rawlings, from Narrogin, has received the Global Voices Fellowship, allowing her to meet policy experts in Canberra and attend a UN summit in Switzerland. Along with fellow recipient Connor Maloney, she will gain hands-on experience in policymaking and international relations through workshops and meetings with leaders. Rawlings, studying law and journalism, aims to explore AI’s impact on the media and its regulation. Curtin University vice-chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne praised the fellowship for nurturing future leaders committed to addressing global challenges.
