Cruise season starts as Seabourn Sojourn and Silver Dawn visit

Geraldton’s cruise season commenced with the arrival of the Seabourn Sojourn, carrying 450 international visitors eager to explore the city’s attractions. Local volunteers provided guidance at a welcome hub, offering recommendations for sightseeing, including the HMAS Sydney II Memorial and local seafood specialties. This season also anticipates visits from additional cruise ships, including the Silver Dawn and The Odyssey. Geraldton previously hosted nearly 9,000 cruise visitors in the 2023-2024 seasons before facing cancellations for 2025 and 2026.
