Tamica Neal of Crestwood faces up to three years in prison for stabbing her boyfriend’s dog to death in March, following a jury trial in Will County. Police responded to a disturbance at the couple’s home, where Neal threatened to stab them with a knife before fatally injuring the dog. She was convicted of aggravated cruelty to animals and aggravated assault, and will be sentenced in January by a Will County judge.
