Epic Pictures and Dread are set to release The Mortuary Assistant, a horror film adaptation of the popular video game, directed by Jeremiah Kipp and starring Willa Holland and Paul Sparks. The story follows Rebecca Owens, a new mortician, whose routine night shift turns into a nightmare filled with demonic rituals and dark secrets. With an R rating and a screenplay by the game’s creators, the film promises intense scares. It opens in theaters on February 13 and will be available on Shudder starting March 27.
