The AI version of Pelkey expressed forgiveness towards his assailant, Gabriel Horcasitas, who was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison for manslaughter. While some legal experts see this as a positive use of technology, concerns remain regarding the ethical implications and fidelity to victims’ true wishes in future cases.
