The head of Warp Films, the production company behind hit show Adolescence, reveals plans to remake the 1980s nuclear war film Threads as a culmination of a 20-year dream. CEO Mark Herbert aims to create a contemporary version of the post-apocalyptic portrayal of South Yorkshire, with a mix of old and new characters. Herbert is currently focused on finding the best writer and director to adapt the film, stating that “nothing is off the table” for the reboot.
