Met Police apologises to honeytrap victims over email

The Metropolitan Police apologised to victims of the Westminster “honeytrap” scandal for accidentally sharing their names and email addresses in an email. The force is investigating flirtatious messages sent to MPs, staffers, and journalists by someone using aliases “Charlie” or “Abi.” The recipients expressed anger and concern over the breach of their personal information, with one victim feeling hesitant to report to the Met again.
