Couple who survived Franklin and Woolsey fires have no plans to leave Malibu home

Bruce and Mindy Silverstein, residents of Malibu, narrowly escaped the Franklin fire that threatened their home, which was ultimately saved by firefighters. Bruce, a City Council member, has been actively involved in advocating for community resources after the Woolsey fire in 2018, and remains committed to helping residents navigate the aftermath of the recent blaze, expressing gratitude for the Fire Department’s efforts in saving lives and properties.
