A California woman, Sadie Novotny, is suing Costco for millions in damages after a heavy liquor cabinet allegedly fell on her while she was shopping in Santa Rosa, resulting in permanent injuries, including a traumatic brain injury. Filed on April 29, the lawsuit claims negligence on Costco’s part for failing to maintain safe conditions and properly train employees, contributing to Novotny’s injuries, which include headaches and vision problems.
