COP29: What leaders are at climate talks?

Around 100 world leaders are expected at COP29 UN climate summit in Baku, with fewer top leaders attending compared to previous summits. Only four G20 leaders, including UK’s Keir Starmer and Italy’s Giorgia Meloni, have confirmed their presence. Developing countries, particularly African and Pacific nations, are well represented, while Latin America will have limited leader participation, with Vice President Geraldo Alckmin representing Brazil at the event.
