Three Year 10 students from St Mary’s College Broome participated in the Djinda Ngardak First Nations Culinary Program in Bunbury from November 23 to 29, joining 20 other youths from WA. Selected for their achievements in food technology, they engaged in hands-on culinary training and cultural activities, culminating in a gala dinner showcasing dishes made with native ingredients. The program emphasizes cultural connection and personal growth, with support from Connellan Airways. Student Elizabeth Black was also nominated as a Youth Ambassador for Prepare Provide Produce.
