Constance Marten, 38, was sentenced to 14 years, and Mark Gordon, 51, to 18 years for gross negligence manslaughter following the death of their newborn daughter, Victoria, in early 2023. The couple, who evaded authorities fearing their child would be taken into care, were found guilty after being apprehended in Brighton and later discovered to have concealed Victoria’s body in a shed.
