Congress intensifies its protest on crime against women in Odisha

Police removed Congress MLAs staging a protest outside the Odisha Assembly during the Budget session, following a demonstration against rising crimes against women that resulted in the suspension of 12 MLAs. Despite suspensions, Congress members remained in the Well of the House and later protested on the road. The Biju Janata Dal continued to demand OBC reservations, while the BJP and Congress clashed over allegations of mistreatment during the protest.
