Columbia University condemned U.S. immigration agents for allegedly making misrepresentations to gain access to a residential building in order to detain Elina Aghayeva, a neuroscience researcher. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani reported that Aghayeva would be released soon, amidst protests on campus against the detention.
