Colorado football signs defensive tackle from transfer portal
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Colorado Buffaloes are actively rebuilding their roster for the 2026 season and have added former Maryland defensive tackle Sedrick Smith, who stands at 6’4″ and weighs 320 pounds. Smith recorded seven tackles in 2025 and previously excelled at Alabama A&M, making him a valuable asset for Colorado, which lacked defensive tackles after several players left for the NFL or the transfer portal. His size and experience will enhance the team’s run defense and strengthen their defensive front as they aim for improvement.
