Colombia’s outgoing defense minister, Pedro Sanchez, has raised concerns about potential terrorist threats ahead of President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella’s inauguration on Friday, set to take place in Cali. Approximately 11,000 troops will secure the ceremony, which will be attended by leaders from Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, and Spain’s King Felipe VI.
