Winter Weather Alerts Issued for Southern States

Snowfall has begun in parts of the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia, with hazardous conditions expected due to strong winds and coastal flooding risks. The frigid temperatures will persist across the eastern U.S., remaining below average into next week.
