Celebre d’Allen: Grand National horse dies after collapse at Aintree

Celebre d’Allen, the oldest runner in the Grand National, died after collapsing following the race at Aintree. The 13-year-old horse was pulled up after the final fence and initially showed signs of recovery but deteriorated and died on Tuesday. Jockey Micheal Nolan received a 10-day suspension for continuing the race despite the horse’s condition, while winning jockey Patrick Mullins was handed an eight-day ban for breaching whip rules.
