A penguin in a cardboard box caused a helicopter crash in South Africa after sliding off a passenger’s lap and hitting the pilot’s controls during take-off. The South African Civil Aviation Authority attributed the incident to the lack of secure containment for the penguin, which led to the aircraft rolling and crashing.
