Pedestrian dies after being hit by ambulance

A pedestrian died after being hit by an ambulance in Moray while responding to an emergency call. The 40-year-old man was struck on the A96 at Barmuckity, near Elgin, around 03:30 on Saturday and later passed away at the hospital. Police Scotland is conducting an ongoing investigation and has appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident.
