Israel dismisses charges against soldiers in Gaza detainee abuse case

Five guards have been accused of violently assaulting a detainee, allegedly using a sharp object that penetrated near the detainee’s rectum. The assault resulted in serious injuries, including cracked ribs, a punctured lung, and an inner rectal tear. The military issued a statement detailing these allegations against the guards.
