Kim Petras requests to exit record label due to album delays

Singer Kim Petras has requested to leave her record label, Republic Records, citing delays in releasing her completed album, which has been ready for six months. She claims the label has “refused” to provide a release date and has also accused them of withholding payments from her collaborators. Petras previously released two albums with Republic Records in 2023 after signing in 2021. The label has been contacted for a response.
