Ukraine’s postal company, Ukrposhta, has gained attention for its unique war stamps, including one showing a soldier making a rude gesture to a Russian warship, which sold out quickly and has become a symbol of defiance. Other stamps feature a tractor towing a captured Russian tank and a mural by Banksy, with profits used for mine-clearing and bomb shelters. Ukrposhta’s head, Ihor Smilyansky, believes that humour is essential in maintaining Ukrainian morale during the conflict with Russia, making their stamps stand out among collectors worldwide.
