Jade to headline BBC Proms' return to Gateshead

Pop star Jade, known for her time with Little Mix, will headline the BBC Proms in Gateshead this summer, performing at the Glasshouse International Centre for Music on Friday, July 25. The South Shields-born singer, recently awarded Best Pop Act at the Brit Awards, will showcase songs from her upcoming solo album with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, and the concert will be broadcast live on BBC radio. Tickets, ranging from £8 to £62.50, went on sale at midday, with organizers highlighting the event as “a proper homecoming moment.”
