Child allegedly killed in east Auckland

A 37-year-old man is set to appear in the Manukau District Court charged with murder after allegedly killing a young child in east Auckland. The man, known to the child and family, arrived at the Manukau Police Station and led police to the deceased child in his vehicle. Victim Support is offering assistance to the child’s mother and family, while further investigations are ongoing following the tragic incident.
